A lot of people sell their houses and use the money to buy in. You're correct. It can go up above $200,000 where I am. Mine is not the most expensive but it's just me for now. Monthly is the same, too. I realize it's not attainable for many but if their children understood the plan they might pitch in to help their parents. Everyone wins.
