After asking me several times during dinner about getting together again, he dissed me. I sent him a few texts that night, thanking him for the dinner and paying for valet parking. I spilled a cup of coffee on my lap as soon as we were done and I was busy trying to sop it up. He didn't help me at all. The check came and usually, I always offer to pay 1/2 or the tip. Rarely does a guy expect that. I guess I didn't act enthusiastic about getting together again, which is fine. He sent my texts back the next day with a thumbs up on them. I haven't heard anything else. BUT, the next night I met up with Sam, a guy I met last year. Once he heard I wanted to get remarried, he kept calling me and never asked me out, so I blocked him. We reconnected after New Year's and now we have had a few dates. I told him, no worries about wedding bells! I like my time alone and with friends, and so does he. It's a great feeling to be independent and in control of my own life. And I like him as is.
