All that crap about you can achieve anything you really want and blah, blah, blah is garbage. I wanted a whole different life than what I got. My plans were shattered when I found out I was pregnant when I graduated from HS and my parents said I had to get married and I had to keep the baby. Or leave and fend for yourself. (At 18 and just out of HS and led a sheltered life for sure). I had wanted to be a flight attendant which was very glamorous back when I was younger. People would say "you still could have done that". Really? And what about my baby I was trying to raise even though I was still a kid? What about that husband I had? What about money?

It's not always possible as bad as we want something when the odds are just so against us. To me, you are young. I got my bachelor's degree online when I was your age. Can you make up for any lost time now? Or are the burdens you are facing now too overwhelming? One thing I can tell about you is you are really smart but practical and not at all selfish. Selfish people may accomplish more but at what cost? It's a conundrum.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
