As far as I knew, he never came close to doing anything like that again, and he was a really good husband. He just decided to become an alcoholic after we were married for 27 years, and after 29, we divorced. It took him four more years to get sober. That lasted two years, and he's drinking again. I have no idea what happened. He barely drank when we were married. I think it was genetics. I know you went through a lot and when I read it I thought "I would never tolerate that". You don't know until it happens to you how you will react. Don't assume or judge.
