Colleen, I believe mothers have an acute sense of hearing and smell. My husband never heard the kids move or fuss a little in the nursery from our bedroom, but to me, it seemed loud enough for me to wake him up and tell him it was his turn! He was always baffled. God gave us that acute sense to care for our children.
