Dear Edie, I have 3 daughters. None of them have ever mentioned any sexual abuse but one, who I am the closest with, always finds a way to dig at me for something in the past. I think it's because her dad and I divorced when she was 5. Oh, Wait, I divorced HIM. That's what he always told our girls. He had nothing to do with it. He never had a date or another relationship with a woman after our divorce. I think that's weird but my daughter said it's because he always loved me. What BS. Daughters can be challenging at any age. I'm really sorry yours seems to have gone off the deep end yet, obviously by that beautiful, time-consuming, cross-stitch, she loves you deep inside. It sounds a lot like the husband rules her.
