My daughter is in a nursing home right now and nauseated and vomiting every day and no one seems to care. She’s there for a different reason and it’s been weeks. She’s miserable as you must have been.
The story of your Medium writing friend is very upsetting. I did not expect to find friends here either but I just poured my heart out to someone I’ve grown close to on here. It’s a good feeling because I’m very lonely this winter home alone.
