For me I really disliked the people who knew my ex was begging me to get back together but was also seeing a woman in a Bible group they were all in. So they all knew. He even got engaged while professing to adore me and needing me back in his life! They all knew. She was going to his house on Sundays for “fellowship”! The 2 of them. When I saw the people in that group do you think one of those good Christians could have enlightened me before I made a fool of myself? Nope. It got thrown in my face when the woman called me to get his house key I had. She told me she was his fiancé and I fell off my couch! Maybe he wanted me to look the fool as punishment for divorcing him (alcoholic). Either way she needed the key because he was in jail with his 4th DUI and his truck with the keys was impounded. She said she had no idea he drank. Too bad. He’s all hers now.
