This may seem like a controversial article but it in no way promotes or supports taking one’s own life. We all get down and sad at times, and some ask themselves these questions. Maybe no one wants to admit it, so I speak for myself and only myself when I write this.

Life can hurt and maim us at times. How we deal with those feelings and emotions gets us through the dark days and back into the light.

This article I read today by Christina Sophia prompted me to write this:

Have you ever said, “I wish I were dead”?

I have.
More than once.

When I was younger, I thought this many times, but, of course, being young, I knew I had many days, weeks, and years ahead of me.

I didn’t mean it.
