Great comfort, J Frank! I have always carried a lot of guilt. My husband used to say it was because I was raised catholic. My daughter knows where and how to hurt me the most, so I ignore her as much as possible. However, I DO NOT feel guilty for what her father did to himself. I had nothing to do with it. He could have found another wife to "take care" of him but chose not to. He went to live with his mom, who cared for him until she died. She didn't make him take his meds. I wonder if my daughter blames her, too?
