He may have had that too. The doctors didn’t think an autopsy was necessary. So we will never really know. I raised hell at the hospital though when I knew he was compromised much earlier in the day and the nurses didn’t have him checked. One nurse came into his room and said he looked like the “purple people eater”. My sister in law was there at the time. That’s when they found the oxygen tubing was not connected. I left that out of the story it’s such a horrible thing to say when he was actually dying.
