"A drug addict can be extraordinarily manipulative and dishonest and will use your goodness against you."

That is exactly what my daughter is trying to do right now. She's sending me voice texts from the hospital about how much she loves me and needs me.

(sorry, I don't know if you read the other articles I wrote about her since Christmas day).

She's on her way to a nursing home for 6 weeks and won't have anyone to get her cigs and pop and fast food. That's what I did last time this same thing happened a few years ago.

I'm trying to be strong and ignore her because it's all just manipulation. I spent thousands last time and she was back on the street in 6 months and the kids had to be let down all over again after gaining some hope. I feel angry towards her even though I love her. I'm thankful for people like you that understand first hand the emotional hell it puts you through.
