Hey Pam. I had one cataract done last year and my surgeon said Medicare guidelines have become much more lenient. Cataracts don't have to be "ripe" to be removed anymore. I know I didn't pay extra, except for the trifocal lens I got. Medicare will only pay for one vision lens and then you have to depend on cheaters forever and I didn't want that.

And I like the vocal addition, too!
