Hi Deb. I see why you are so sympathetic about my family issues. I know I could have cut off my parents but now it is my children and I just can't give up trying to win their love.

I have the feeling there is so much more to your story. A whole book. Have you thought about writing one? Where are your siblings now? Do you know if your stepfather abused your little sister? This is all very sad. My children did not grow up in such a household. I wish they could see how fortunate they were to be so loved.
