Hi Diane. She could have called me and she didn't. She had that option but that does not exonerate the school for turning her loose.

The police could have picked her up for truancy. That would have been interesting since they were there in the first place. I think in those cases they should take the student home. But she didn't go to juvenile hall. That could have happened too.

I'm just glad I didn't write the stupid article that I started by criticizing her school. Once I read about the Michigan shooting and found out all the protocol rules they broke concerning threats and weapons, I realized how serious even a little accidental pocket knife was. Someone commented here it was not serious. I guess to imply my subtitle was clickbait? Tell that to the parents of those dead kids in Michigan. Not serious? It's all serious when our kids are going to school in fear for their lives. Thanks for reading.
