Hi Pam. I saw her yesterday and it's so nice to just be able to say what I feel to her like the old days when we had a good relationship. I don't have to walk on eggs around her like my other daughters. She knows I've said negative things about her and have not liked her a lot of the time. She knows how much I love her, too. She also knows how educated I am on her disease and she can't fool me with manipulation and lies. She respects me for that....that's what she said.

My ex-husband disliked his mother very much. She was abusive. He had 8 other siblings and they all loved her so why he was singled out I don't know. In the 29 years we were married I only saw her 3x. What does that tell you? My mom said to see how a man treats his mother and then you will know how he will treat you. I screwed that one up!

Sorry, I got off on a tangent but what I was getting at it not all children feel that attachment to their mother.

I took the long way around making that point 😄
