Hi Victoria. I went through Divorce Care 7 years ago and I still have 2 good friends from that group. None of us are remarried. Yet.

The leaders we had, a married couple, met at Divorce Care. That was not a good choice for leadership.

After being told not to date other classmates they have a couple that met in DC lead us.

They ended up divorced a few years later.

One thing we have been unhappy about is the church has no group for older single people. Like 45 and older. Lots of widows groups but nothing for us divorced folks.

They equate that with a dating site.

Hardly. I think it would be good to be in a group of Christians who are not married. If we ended up dating, all the better.

I like the use of Club after you break off from the class and hang out together.

We tried forming a Club and it was not successful.
