Hindsight is always 20/20! Perhaps there's a reason it was not to be. Someone decided to include them in the casket without realizing what they were doing. But they must have had good, sentimental, intentions. I complained because none of my siblings helped me clean out my parent's 3500-square-foot home with a pole barn, to boot! They came and took what they wanted and left me with the mess. But...I found these valuable items. They took the jewelry, silver, and anything valuable but the diary and letters are more valuable to me.
