His mother is not living with him now but he does spend too much time alone. My other daughters and I include him as often as we can. And his other grandmother is on top of it too. She's strict though! I'm never mean or bossy to my grandchildren. Anyway, he will be OK. We love him to pieces and are looking out for him. I'm concerned now because his mom says she is going to recover. I hope she does not give him false hope again.

As for you....my God. You have been through such hell. If he survives he will need a lot of therapy and care. Way more than you can give him. I pray for a good outcome for YOU. He has burned his bridges. And I know all too well how hard it is to NOT enable. Very, very hard. I'm thinking you are a saint.
