I absolutely HATE cruise ships. What is the allure? Food? Who cares? Booze? I can take it or leave it.

The only cruise I went on was one my parents paid for and one night I was sure my nephew threw my 10-year-old son overboard. Never again will I be so helpless out in the middle of who knows where. In a petri dish as you say. But I ended up having to cancel 4 trips I had booked because I retired in February of 2020 and we all know what hit us then. I retired to travel so life has been a little boring until I found Medium. I'm a nurse so don't feel too bad retiring "just in time"!
