I agree, but I look at it from the wife's perspective. Why waste time thinking about the other woman when you need all your wits to deal with the man who has betrayed you? She is just collateral damage and will move on to someone else's husband when she tires of the excitement and mystery of carrying on an affair. It's all a game, and the two of them should lose. Sadly, the ones who lose are often the wife and the rest of the family, who depend on that man to be a husband and father with integrity.
