I agree. I think as we age that mutual feeling is few and far between.

I remember my parent's friends, when one spouse would pass away, the different spouses hooked up to stay in the same social group. I have no idea if they had physical relationships but I saw them having a lot of fun! Playing cars, vacationing together, etc. They functioned better in pairs.

I was married most of my "adult" life and I miss it lot. I was just generally more happy with a spouse.
