I could never buy a place just for an Airbnb. Too much trouble. However, when she lived in a small apartment in Wahington, DC, my niece made a lot of money using her place as an Airbnb when she traveled for her job. It was a one bedroom so only two people max could rent it. She had a parking spot in an underground garage. It was within walking distance to the train or downtown DC, Georgetown , and many sights. Uber's were easy to get. It was so small. She had cupboards where she locked up anything she did not want to be used. That's the way to make money. Suppose you can use your place as an Airbnb while you travel or vacation? Otherwise, I see no profit.
