I did not want to be intimate with him during those years. I told him emotionally it would be a mistake for us. At the time, I was still hurting from the divorce and very fearful he would drink again. We had a very passionate sex life when we were married, though. I honestly didn't realize how much I cared until I realized he was gone for good.
