I don't think she realizes how serious this all is. I agree she has to take one day at a time, but she also needs to grow up. She knows her way around recovery. She's an expert at it. She isn't committed. She was humbling herself at first, but it is not in her nature to do that. She wants to be the smartest one in the room. She wants the end goal without doing the work in the middle. This will be the first time she has spent this long in a facility. I think if she can stay there, she will have her best chance because she has failed at this so many times. I appreciate your concern, and I know how serious MRSA is, and I don't blame the surgeon for not doing her surgery until she's recovered. She needs a valve replacement, too. I am exhausted with the issues of all my daughters. It wasn't as bad when their dad was alive, or I had my husband to talk to, but I won't talk bout them to anyone, so I bottle it up. I think I will call her tmro and just mention being humble again. Sorry this is so long.
