I found in some Egyptian cities, women manned the restrooms, and you could not get out without tipping them for handing you a paper towel. The men sat outside the bathroom. If you slipped out by using your own towel or hand wipe and not paying her, all hell broke loose. The men came after you. It was safer to tip. I am getting 100 one-dollar bills and folding them up before going to Kenya. That way, I won't have to fumble for the tip where they see how much money you have in your wallet. I'm learning. As if I'm some world traveler 😂
