I had an alcoholic husband who promised to change one too many times. And I believed far too long. He just found someone else who would baby him and tolerate his behavior and dumped me. But, I found myself with no partner at 67. I knew there were good men out there. I read about them all the time on Medium! Not to mention the amazing male writers. I am giving this guy a chance, but I know he will not change, and I have to accept him as he is. He's very good to me, but I may have to get used to a chubby partner. That will take some doing!
