I had never heard of these characters, so that was an education. Your writing makes me curious enough to want to look some of his stuff up and read it, and once again, I feel the guilt of not recognizing my son's signs of autism as a kid. He was just a troublemaker, and I was embarrassed by him plenty of times. GUILT. So many times, I should have defended him, and he got punished instead. I wish I knew captain Underpants back then. When DAV commented about his mom; that made it all real for me. Why wasn't I more like his mom? Probably because my sons three older sisters did not have those problems. I thought boys were just like that. Duh... I don't see an Achilles heel here because you covered all points thoroughly and descriptively.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
