I had to learn this the hard way. I volunteered to be the team mom for my sons all star baseball team. No one came forward so stupid me did. These women were all so rude in telling me how to do my job and the coach was an ass and I regretted it from day 1. I think I thought my son might get to play more if I was the team mom. Nope.

I never got any kind of thank you and I worked pretty hard to raise money for the team. It made me mad and I was glad my son was done after that year.

It soured me from volunteering ever again.

I will keep in mind thanking the volunteers profusely!
