I have another daughter who has been affected by her sister's addiction and accuses me of ignoring her when I was first faced with this problem. My other children were 14, 12, and 6. She's right.

But I pour as much attention on her now as I can. She's bitter. I can't think of what else she wants me to say or do in order to convince her how sorry I am. I thought you might shed some light on that but I am doing right by my actions. I just don't have the words.
