You are right...and not judgmental at all! I have been involved in several AL Anon groups. My ex-husband was also an alcoholic so I've had the drugs route and the alcohol route. Unfortunately, at most meetings, one person decides to do all the talking. I'm quiet. I wish they would do a lead like AA meetings. Then everyone gets a chance. There will always be those people that talk and talk about themselves and with no leader, there's no way to stop this without seeming rude. I gave up.

I'll look again when I move in a few months to a different city.
