I have the exact same thought as Bebe below.

If they took old Jeff out, well.....she's much less important. Even if she says she isn't spilling the beans. Even if she is "cooperating" with the police, she will wind up dead in prison. That's just what happens to child molesters. There are lots of mothers and grandmothers in prison just waiting for her.
