I have the same things going on, Mandy. My mom came from a rather affluent family but she had dentures when she was 26. My siblings and I went to the dentist regularly and we all have several crowns and a few implants. I had my first crown at 22 also! We grew up on a farm with well water and no fluoride. Our dentist was mean and yelled at us about our cavities.

There can't be enough said about the part heredity plays in your dental health. I dread those check-ups. I'm too old for cavities!

My kids are lucky and got their dads teeth.
