I hear you. That's not promoted at my church; they also don't judge others. I can't believe so many good books are banned from schools, and now they spread this new crap around. God knows, being "different" can suck, but there are a lot of different kinds of people, colors, races, traditions, sizes, etc. We are all different in some way.

Sunday, we had a teaching about the attempt to stone the harlot in the Bible book of John and Jesus, saying, "he who is without sin cast the first stone." And everyone ran away.

Here is the interpretation our pastor researched to the best of his ability. This is what he said to her:

John 1:14

You're a sinner. What you did is a sin. It was wrong. But I don't condemn you. I'm not going to give you what you deserve. I'm extending to you exactly what you don't deserve: grace.

So he's not saying poor lady can't make a dime without putting out to strange men! The Bible addresses same-sex coupling too. Jesus wasn't some wimp that "forgave" every creepy person. This world has never been perfect , and the Bible has been interpreted over and over to craziness! I just do my thing, and I don't preach to anyone. I have enough sins to cover my lifetime and that's what I need to keep in mind. Keep my side of the road clean. Yes, there are all kinds of Gods, and even the God of the Bible gets his statue dressed up like a Latino or oriental, depending on where he's displayed. We don't have statues, crosses, or any fancy stuff at our church. I don't go for that stuff. Our pastor has a million tattoos and tells jokes when he teaches. I was raised Catholic and there is a nightmare I never would bestow on my children.
