I hear you. I’m moving to a maintenance free lifestyle for that very reason. Anything goes wrong and I panic. Then it usually costs me $1000 or more to get something fixed. Something my ex can easily do in his sleep. He still helps me out sometimes but he travels.
I hated that part from the get go. And once I moved in here it seemed everything needed attention. But, what you gonna do?
