I heard this one often!

…t we were told as children. My personal favorites, get over it, grow a pair and last but not least, you want to cry I'll give you something to cry about. All that did for me growing up was turn me into one hateful, mean, evil, a$$ for many years.
I bet all of us could fill a book with what we were told as children.
