I hope by now he's as chipper as he deserves, and you are not wrong about hospitals or anywhere anymore. There is no kindness or customer service anywhere. Young people work for the money and know they won't be fired because there's no one to take their place. Nurses are burned out because there are not enough of them, and they don't have the compassion we learned when I was in nursing school. It's all about computers and charges, and who cares if there's a person in there? I know there are exceptions, but when I left in 2020, just before COVID, it was terrible, and I had worked there for 42 years. I saw all the changes.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
