I just came from an Al-Anon meeting. I cry a lot there. My ex always wanted to get back together. I was never sure. He had two more DUIs AFTER we were divorced. I told him he needed to be sober for at least two years. Before the two years (November), he got a girlfriend. H said I made him wait for six years. I said, "NO, you made yourself wait six years. It didn't matter. After adoring me all that time, he chose her. He's been building it up with her behind my back. She and I did not know about each other. Then he got DUI #4 the following month. I guess she didn't make him happy after all. He's still in jail. And I dodged a bullet even with a broken heart.
