I just find it easier to write and ignore stats for the most part. When I tried to figure things out I didn't have as much fun writing. That took me back to my early days on Medium when I made way more money and had way more fun so I just backed up and I've been happier ever since. I admire your brains in getting your articles together. You do write much more than me. I think I'm disorganized no matter how much I try to organize!
