I just retired instead of dealing with more nurse crap. I would honestly be tempted to cover it up if I made an error, after reading this article.

This nurse could not have covered such a serious event up since there were obviously witnesses.

This does change nursing a lot.

We had an incident at my hospital where instead of O2 a patient was given more anesthetic and he died. A young man that was hurt in a softball accident. An emergency surgery.

None of those involved faced charges. The hospital and anesthesiologist paid a settlement.

This is scary.
