I knew after the second date it was not going to work. He was all over me and I told him I was not going to sleep with him until I knew him better. He claimed to respect my standards but continued to paw me. Obviously not a decent man and of course I knew the only thing he wanted. I think I held on because he was a prestigious doctor where I worked and it felt good to be his girlfriend. Not good enough to lose my self-respect though. He was the only guy that ever came to my house more than once or met any family and that was my 2 sisters and their spouses for dinner out. My children never met a single guy I ever went out with and none of them were serious enough that I had them over to my house more than once. Yet, I had "all those dates" according to my son, and I'm sure my ex thought that too. He was over helping me put my Xmas tree up when I received 3 dozen red roses, a teddy bear, and a box of candy from a guy that I stopped seeing. I told him how it was but I'm sure he felt defeated. He rarely had enough money to live let alone buy me flowers. As soon as he decided to leave me last summer, without telling me, he met my son and his wife for pizza and introduced them to his new girlfriend. When everything blew up my son was upset with his father for all the lies and still doesn't speak to him. My ex did try to come back last October and I received him with open arms (like a fool) until I could tell he was drinking again and I told him no way. Then he went out and got his 4th DUI and that was the end of it all.

SORRY SO LONG AND BORING, JULIUS!
