I know people mean well, but I never say "I understand" when I don't. That's just disrespectful of the person who is suffering. I understood when you were going through your divorce because I suffered just as you did. I can't believe he's back, and you aren't reconciling! But I give you much credit. You were so easily discarded after all those years, and now you are being kind to him. I am unsure I can be kind to mine if I see him. He will do everything in his power to never have to face me again. He discarded me for a woman I never visioned him with. But she worships him even after 4 DUIs and being a felon. He sucks that up.

My other kids and I were pulling back together when my ex and I discussed reconciling. Then he left, started drinking, went to jail, and cut us all off. My family collapsed again. I had them all at my home on 4/25 for my granddaughter's birthday, except for one daughter. It was heaven for me. All I want is for my family to stay together. The addicts have torn it apart.

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
