I loved that guy! Divorced him for his drinking, thinking that would wake him up. He tried for six years to reconcile with me but got two more DUIs and drank much more, thinking I didn't know. Then, last year, he got a woman paying attention to him and ghosted me. After 36 years, he finally sent me a goodbye TEXT. What a measly coward. It was hard to believe God would allow me to be so broken over such a fool, but I was. Ultimately, I am meeting real men with jobs, retirements, homes, investments, cars, and passports. He's a felon now. After being so "confused" between her and me, he drank again and got DUI #4. I know there was a silver lining to the pain, but I still had to go through it.
