I may be with him now. I've known him since I was 12, a friend of my brothers, and I've seen him off and on over the years. He got divorced three years ago. He asked me (with my brother's encouragement) to help him navigate the medical system after he got the run around for a year from one doctor about an issue. I fixed him up...got him an MRI...I can't believe they took him to surgery 3x and never did an MRI...and I will go with the doctor with him again today. We had a date on Sunday.... an actual date after we'd joked about it for years. He brought me flowers, ordered me lobster, and came into my house and fixed a few problems. He's helping me put up my tree tomorrow. The bad thing (maybe good) is he leaves for his home in Florida on Saturday until May. He says he has plans so we can see each other over the winter. Time will tell. He's been right under my nose all this time.
