This is ruining my ability to enhance my best stories

YIKES!!! I JUST PUBLISHED THIS, AND NOW I FIND OUT I HAVE TO PUBLISH A STORY BEFORE THE VIDEO WILL PLAY!

Sorry, Zulie Rane, but I am using one of your videos to show my problem.

It was easy to embed this video using the copied URL, as I have done with many of my stories in the past.

A few months ago, I found I could embed videos from anywhere as usual, but they will not play. I googled every “fix” I could find that might define the problem, and nothing worked.

I watched YouTube videos and many videos specific to Medium for embedding videos into our stories, but no luck with a fix for the issue of them not playing.
