I never dreamt of asking my parent's for help or a dime. We were raised knowing we had to make our own way. My parents did much better than me but they did leave me a nice inheritance. I can't say my kids will get much unless I die soon. The way they've changed pensions and retirement around these Millenials do have it tough but that's not we parent's fault. I'm not going to be on the street at age 90 because I gave my kids down payments for their houses.
