I realized this was true in my long, drawn-out, ending with my ex that lasted 6 years after our divorce. At 67, I was brokenhearted for the first time in my life! But now, even though it could happen again, I know I will survive and move on quickly. I learned the hard way late in life, but now I see all the good that came from it.
