I started out with this mindset but I have been on this earth way longer than you and know better. I hardly trust any good feelings anymore.

I see why you soared high and I think that's great. You deserved to feel that way for the time you did. I bet you did better class work, smiled more, and felt amazing. Even if it didn't last you kicked it for awhile. Now, you see what you need to do and you're on your way. It sounds like you are on a fun ride to me. The kind that has a few dips and then roller coaster excitement. Enjoy it all :)
