I think I might be the lucky one 😄

I was wrong though. I did work with a lady that was on a jury for a vehicular homicide case. It was a young girl and she hit an older man walking on the side of the road. It was on a curve that I often drive and if the sun is just right you can't see a damn thing. My co worker said the girl was visibly distraught about it and said she just did not see him. I think there was some question of whether he wandered onto the road as well. The mans son said his father would not want her to be punished and he knew the curve and it's dangers. The jury found her innocent. Now that kind of trial I wouldn't mind being on the jury for.
