I think it's sad all 4 of my kids had the opportunity to attend college on our dime. Only one stuck it out and got her master's Degree. The other three screwed around and now, in their 40s, have a sad-looking future unless they win the lottery. OK...so foster kids get a break, and I'm all for that, but what about all the kids that can't afford it? My grandchildren are very smart. Their mom, my daughter is 49 and living on the street doing drugs, and their dad is an RN but also an alcoholic, which is damn scary. Where's their chance?
